Why Mr.Bean is Dumb1
Recently I had this opportunity to watch Mr. Bean but I discarded the offer because I hate the show. The answer for that is very simple. He annoys me very much. First of all, I hate the fact that he cannot talk. How could someone enjoy watching a TV program with no words coming out from the actor’s mouth? Personally, I think his role as the villain in Scooby Doo is much better. At least he talks in it. Most of the time he gets into trouble because he does not talk or his mumbling is often misinterpreted. That irritates me even more.
Secondly he acts so dumb and CHILDISH that I just hate it (although I know that is his character). In one episode, he would enter this dog competition meant for kids. You might be wondering about his dog. Dumbly, he would sign up his Teddy as one of the competitor. Amazingly the judge would allow it in a bizarre way for the reason that they neither noticed him being oversized for a kid nor his Teddy which is nothing like a dog.
But anyway, as much as I get annoyed with the show, I must say that I do enjoy one or two of his jokes (especially the part where he gets something bad for his transgression) And I do respect that he does acting and writes his own script (although the jokes do not impress me)
But I think it all comes down to a person’s interest because, a person’s interest may vary and distinctive from one another.
You can’t blame me for hating Mr. Bean.
