No Sidebars Defined BY WORDPRESS3

No Sidebars Defined

Error message :You are seeing this message because the theme you are currently using isn’t widget-aware, meaning that it has no sidebars that you are able to change. For information on making your theme widget-aware, please follow these instructions.

Let me teach you how we handle this situation.
First take a deep breath and think outside the box.
You don’t need to ask people to do it.
Problem : Couldn’t put MyBlogLog Widget in my site.

Reason: As said earlier my sidebar isn’t widget-aware(what the heck is that, I don’t know)
Why:This all started after I changed my theme and my webmaster is in India .

Now this is the interesting part ..Keep reading.

How it got solved : I brilliantly accessed my old theme and copied the sidebar codes.(which had all the bloglog , in fact it even contained my Pagerank details and I disclose badge).
Then , I went to my new theme’s sidebar and erased all the details.
Instead of it’s own codes , i pasted the old theme’s codes in the new theme’ sidebar.
I was risking it ,I know, but wouldn’t be posting it if it failed now would I ?

Results:I thought since I changed the whole sidebar codes , my sidebar is now widget-aware but it seems that it FAILED.
So I did post it although I failed.
But wait.
Now my new sidebar has bloglog widget, i disclose badge and even pagerank status.
Smart eh ?
So who cares if my sidebar is not widget-aware.
I GOT WHAT I WANTED.
Now congratulate me people ..
I soooo smart la.
So what you think?Should I leave it as it is ?
Wouldn’t it bring  any problem ?

Note
:I do not encourage you to do the same.I only did this after i backed up my site and out of boredom.I suggest you wait for you webmaster to return from India(in my case) to do any sort of editing.Any damage to your site caused by this post is YOUR PASAL.
