Things have changed around here

Besides the second earthquake in Myanmar after Japan i guess nothing is major around here.

But the way we view things have changed.

Major changes are those revolving around Social networking sites. We cannot push the fact that internet based activity is becoming the major source of information

- You met a friend, new or old : You ask them how have they been? What is happening around them? Then you share a little about yourself. That is how you get to know about them. Now all that have changed with Facebook.

Instead of asking, we tell them what is happening in their life.
Oh, so and so have commented about your racoon which died, I heard u went to Bali, I got to know from facebook that your bf dumped you.

So you’re single now. ( That is a statement, not a question at all). Sometimes privacy is a luxury in this era.

-Then the Breaking News on TV is always so late in 2011. The new medium for news is Facebook. So detailed, so customised to cater our local taste. I just read and SAW a video of a girl who attempted suicide somewhere in Kota Bahru in facebook posted by a user before Star Online. 10 years ago, I would probably found out that news later at 8.00pm news. THE EARLIEST.

- On a tv show hosted by a top Breakfast show or something headlined a news about a dog which felt guilty for some reason. It got 4 million hits so they were interviewing the dog and the owners. It was on Yahoo! news.

So where am i going with this?

I don’t know. Just felt like stating the obvious. Well we should determine what to prioritise and what not.

-How many of you go and sit at the mamak to watch  a football game rather than checking the livescore in the net?

-How many of you go on youtube to see the tutorial to throw the curve ball instead of learning out there in the field?

-How many of you do the actually know which material is better for shirt or pants? or you order them online after reading reviews?

REPENT BEFORE THE WORLD ENDS.. haha

#4 Destination.

Little balls of fire. That’s how I’m feeling inside. Just like, little little balls of fire, inside of me, burningmesoftly. There’re so many things inside me that I want to just let out but I can’t seem to string sentences together. Tried blurting it all out. Read it over, wasn’t too keen on my ramblings being read by you random stranger. Are you my friend, dear stranger? because I might need your company, if you think you can read me, clearly.
