Review of Windows Vista

If anyone is interested in upgrading to windows Vista
You would most probably want to review the good and bad of this OS.
Being a brand new thing in the market , people are afraid to upgrade and they prefer to wait for some time ..

OK ..enough with that .Let’s see some elucidation on Windows Vista Home Basic and Windows Vista Home premium.
The good part is Windows Vista Home Basic and Windows Vista Home Premium do improve some features within Windows XP; fewer system crashes than Windows XP; and Windows Vista offers better built-in support options.

Here comes the bad part.
The bad is that Windows Vista Home Basic and Windows Vista Home Premium do not put Search on the desktop (it’s buried within applications, within the Start Menu); no Aero graphics system in Home Basic; no new software yet written exclusively for Windows Vista; optimized only for the Microsoft Windows ecosystem (for example, RSS feeds from IE7 get preferential treatment); and little reason to leave Windows XP. While Windows Vista Home Premium’s Tablet PC support unnecessary; fax and scan support missing; and there are too many editions of Windows Vista.

The bottom line is Windows Vista Home Basic and Premium is essentially warmed-over Windows XP, Windows XP SP3. If you’re currently happy with Windows XP SP2, I see no compelling reason to upgrade. On the other hand, if you need a new computer right now, Windows Vista is stable enough for everyday use.

vista needs at least 2gb of RAM to actually run smoothly,
YET it is loaded with bugs currently and it is totally a no no for games.
